This week we listen to American Innovations - The Future of Food . In this episode host Steven Johnson interviews Florencia Ramirez who has made it her mission to help people understand the cost of water in the food we eat. The interview is great and helped us to understand the hidden water costs of traditional farming. While this could be a doom and gloom style conversation, it is instead one of hope and practical action items that when done on large scale could make us better stewards of our water supply.
